She achieved the feat during her 102-run knock in the third ODI against England Women at Chester-le-Street. Before Kaur, only Mithali Raj and Smriti Mandhana had reached the same milestone for India.

Overall, she is the 17th player in the world to score more than 4000 runs in WODIs. Kaur now has 4,069 runs in WODIs – the third-most after Mandhana’s 4,588 and Mithali’s 7,805 runs for India. Harman’s innings also ensured that India finished their innings on a strong score of 318/6 in the series decider.

Besides this, Harman also became the sixth player in WODI history to score more than 1000 runs in a single country away from home. Before Kaur, Belinda Clark, Karen Rolton, Mithali Raj, Debbie Hockley and Charlotte Edwards had achieved this feat.

Indian captain Kaur is the second Indian batter after Mithali Raj to score more than 1000 ODI runs in England. Mithali and Harman are the only two overseas batters to score more than 1,000 ODI runs in England, with Australia’s Ellyse Perry third with 962 runs in England.
