Domestic veteran Mandeep Singh has decided to leave Tripura ahead of the 2025-26 season, ending his one-year stint with the team.
Mandeep, who captained Tripura in all formats during the 2024-25 season, played six Ranji Trophy matches, six Vijay Hazare Trophy games, and seven Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches. While Tripura did not move past the group stages in any tournament, Mandeep had a strong individual season.
In the Ranji Trophy, he scored an unbeaten 124 and made five half-centuries, reaching fifty in every match. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored three fifties, including a top score of 94 against Bengal. He also added two half-centuries in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the main domestic 20-over tournament.
